Burkes Pass Country Motels have been welcoming travellers since 2019 with motels on this site going back until the 1970’s, offering a charming escape in the heart of Mackenzie Country.

Originally established to provide a restful stopover for those exploring the South Island, the motels have retained their rustic appeal while embracing modern comforts. Located in the historic village of Burkes Pass, a gateway to Lake Tekapo and the wider high country, the motels reflect the rich heritage of the area.
